Full Stack software QA engineer

Our online students are dedicated, passionate and determined, and they can use your help to create high quality projects for their portfolios and land their first developer role.We are looking for a talented and opinionated QA engineer to join our team as an internal assessor of full stack projects submitted by our students. In this role, you’ll lead the effort to ensure students are building industry-ready portfolios of coding projects that meet EQF Level 5 standards.This is not your typical QA role. Instead of repeatedly assessing the quality of the same systems, you will be reviewing a very wide and constantly changing set of student projects, while working closely with many stakeholders inside and outside of Code Institute. In this role, you will have significant responsibility and autonomy to lead the efforts to ensure that we have a rigorous, effective and fair assessment process, and support our students in creating impressive projects which would demonstrate their skills to potential employers.ResponsibilitiesPerform internal QA assessments of student projectsCoordinate the efforts of other external and internal assessorsFacilitate periodic portfolio review meetingsManage reassessments, appeals, and other project-related issuesContribute to QA and project-related educational resourcesRequirementsManual software QA experienceFamiliarity with the following programming languages: HTML, CSS, JS and PythonEffective written communication skillsExperience with managing project work in an agile environmentPerksFree access to all of our course materials.Working cross-team in a dynamic 'start-up' environment.
